Responsible for:Treasury Management. Maintenance of bank accounts, cash flow management, FX deals, Commercial Paper program and bond and swap portfolio. In April 2019 managed the process of issuing NZD$100m into the NZ retail market and took out associated swap to manage the portfolio interest rate profile. Treasury Management Policy Review and Update. Preparation and presentation of treasury updates and decision papers to the Board. Enterprise Modelling. Managed the process to build Wellington Airport’s financial model including enterprise and equity valuation, IRR and stress tested that model during the development of Wellington Airport’s 2040 master plan and associated capex. Presentations to Board and Shareholders on the workings of the model, the key drivers of value within the Airport and sensitivity of the P&L and Balance Sheet to passenger movements, interest rate environment changes etc. Also the role involves:Budgeting and Forecast Manager. Reviewing the regular 5 year forecast updates to shareholders, managing the annual forecast and budget process for the Airport amongst other forecasting tasks. Insurance Manager. Key liaison point for the Airport including analysis of insurance risks and arrangement of insurance levels. In 2019 visited London to place the Airports $650m Material Damage and Business Interruption Cover. During 2019 set up an Insurance captive subsidiary for the airport and arranged the insurance renewal through this entity in October 2019. Risk Manager. Arrangement of risk meetings, preparation of the risk pack for those meetings and maintenance of the Airport risk register. Business Partnering. Ongoing business partnering for the airport, in particular for the annual forecast and budget process, but also regarding insurance, general analysis etc.

Having obtained a secondment to work in Wellington, New Zealand, I have relocated for 2 years to NZ where I am working with the audit team there. I have a diverse array of clients in this location due to the size of the companies in NZ. This has developed my skills in the area of audit management and financial reporting significantly. It continues to improve my ability to manage junior employees and keep track of multiple budgets and engagements simultaneously.

I am involved with the audit of several large/listed companies including Australian Vintage Ltd, Bridgestone, Carter Holt Harvey and DMG Australia. As an experienced analyst I am responsible for helping organise the testing procedures, guiding the junior members of the team and reviewing their work.
