- Key liaison with all levels of campus partners (e.g. Campus Planning, Plant Operations, VUPS, Environmental Health and Safety, Information Technology, Card Office)- Cultivate and strengthen robust working relationships with key stakeholders as A&S progresses through the capital planning process.- Take charge of tracking and maintaining comprehensive space usage data, metrics, and outcomes, and conduct thorough assessments of program impact to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Responsible for opening a 230K sq.ft. research facility through phased opening of classroom, research laboratories, and office space. Served as primary liason between Plant Operations, VUIT, Environmental Health and Science, Design teams, and Researchers from day-to-day operations to facility renovations.

• Assisted with the purchase of a micro-CT scanner (North Star ImagiX) and currently working on development of procedures.• Manage and train users for the Scanning Electron Microscope lab (Tescan LaB6 VP-SEM with Secondary Electron, Backscatter, Tescan Low-vac Secondary Electron, Cathodoluminescence, Oxford EDS/EBSD, and Gatan MonoCL detectors) and LA-ICP-MS (Thermo iCAP Qc and Photon Machine excimer laser);• Oversight, maintenance and operation of other laboratory/analytical/field equipment and instruments (including instructional); management, repair, and fabrication of research/instructional equipment;• Oversight and administration of safety protocols and procedures for research/instructional labs; management of hazardous materials - serves as Departmental Safety Officer and Liaison to Vanderbilt Environmental Health & Safety;• Technical/physical assistance to faculty and students with ongoing research projects and instructional activities, including instrument operation; and• Management, maintenance and administration of computational equipment/facilities including software support; administration/maintenance of server and websites.

Responsible for supplies and chemical inventory; and management of work space and cleanliness of two laboratories (Soil and Environmental Geochemistry Wetlab)

Projects included real-time monitoring of colloid transport in calcite and quartz sand and the identification of chemical environments of soil contamination using Synchrotron X-ray Methods
