Utilizing this tool, programs have been able to find and resolve many bugs including thread allocation, component messaging bandwidth, and algorithm execution. The toolset would have 2 different kinds of data collection; message based and stopwatch based. The message based collection would collect various timestamps along a messages delivery path and utilize the header to determine where the message was produced and where the message was consumed. The stopwatch based collection would record any 2 timestamps with a unique identifier to differentiate the collections. This toolset comes with a script that will correlate all recorded data from the embedded system over the entire run in order to create informational plots describing each collection. Developed common architecture design used by multiple programs to efficiently merge multiple repositories at different classification levels. The architecture was developed with the mindset of reusability and inheritance to support multiple functionalities on different HW baselines.
