With over twenty five years of experience, Aaron began his journey to become a Chartered Accountant at the age of 21. His son was just 3-months old when he began his Diploma in Business and Accounting. After graduating with his Diploma, Aaron was determined to continue on with his Bachelors Degree in Business and Accounting whilst juggling a busy managerial role in the forestry, logging and transport industry. When he graduated, his son was then 7 and his daughter 5. Prior to Graduating, Aaron made his first move into Public Practice as a Client Manager for a Chartered Accountants firm in Central North Island, New Zealand. This opportunity provided Aaron with a clear pathway towards becoming a Chartered Accountant.On 1 January 2006, Aaron migrated to Australia and continued his journey working as a Finance Manager in Nauiyu Nambiyu, a small remote Aboriginal community two and a half hours south-west of Darwin. Whilst managing his workload as a Finance Manager and Acting CEO for the local community government council, Aaron completed his last paper and Graduated with his Post-Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting through the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand. In January 2007, Aaron decided it was important that he returns to Public Practice and gain the necessary working knowledge and experience in Australia so that he can continue his Chartered Accountants pathway. Aaron has worked in a number of firms across Australia including Western Australia, Queensland and New South Wales. In 2013, Aaron became a Registered Tax Agent, and in 2015, Aaron graduated with his Post-Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting through the Institute of Chartered Accountants. In 2019, Aaron became a full member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and also completed his Public Practicing Certificate.
