Over 11 years of international experience in planning, organizing and directing the U.S. operations for a major German CNC-machinery manufacturer. Hans Hundegger Maschinenbau (HH) is a German company and the world leader in the manufacture of CNC-machinery used for cutting complex timber frame structure, building and processing solid wood panels as well as structural insulated panels, and automated planing of timbers. After graduating from the Brigham Young University Manufacturing and Engineering Technology program in 1999, I was hired as Hundegger USA’s (HH USA) first full-time engineering specialist in North America. I was responsible for the installation, service and training of HH USA customers and employees in the U.S., Canada and South America. Under my management HH USA’s installed machine base in North and South America grew from 6 machines to over 200. To handle this growth I developed and managed a team of up to 7 service technicians. In addition, I have:o Established policies and procedures regarding all aspects of part storage / shipping policies.o Set up guidelines for travel and performing service visits.o Scheduled all technicians for set-up of new machinery and train customers in use of technology.o Scheduled all service and repair trips for machinery.o Provided on job training, documentation and daily guidance for techs trouble-shooting problems on the road and assisting those in office.o Finalized all machinery orders and confirmed orders with German parent company.o Organized shipping and coordinated delivery with companies in US.o Personally translated and oversaw translation of over 10 different Operator & Maintenance manuals as well as promotional literature.o Acted as intermediary between North American and German operations. o Personally set up and serviced machines in persono Provided phone support for customers working on their own machines
