Crown Counsel for the Ministry of Labour conducts prosecutions under the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Employment Standards Act in all geographic areas of the Province of Ontario; represents the Ministry at appeals before the Ontario Labour Relations Board under the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Employment Standards Act; appears before appellate courts on Provincial Offences Act appeals; attends at Coroners' Inquests; and provides oral and written legal advice to the client Ministry as needed.

The litigation group provides legal representation of the Crown, its ministries, agencies, boards and commissions at all levels of court. Aaron's role was to support litigation files through legal research and drafting of court documents. Aaron also represented clients before the Small Claim Court and the Ontario Court of Justice.

The Aboriginal law litigation group provides legal representation of the Crown, its ministries, agencies, boards and commissions at all levels of court on issues related to Ontario's Indigenous communities.

Fairbanks, Alaska

As a legal intern, Aaron researched federal, state, provincial and territorial laws and administrative mechanisms relevant to Indigenous governance initiatives and initiated partnerships with government and private agencies. Aaron helped develop approaches to bring the voices of member communities to the decision-making table.The Yukon River Inter-Tribal Watershed Council is an Indigenous grassroots organization, consisting of 70 First Nations and Tribes, dedicated to the protection and preservation of the Yukon River Watershed. The YRITWC provides Yukon First Nations and Alaska Tribes in the Yukon Watershed with technical assistance, such as facilitating the development and exchange of information, coordinating efforts between First Nations and Tribes, undertaking research, and providing training, education and awareness programs to promote the health of the Watershed and its Indigenous peoples.

While at IRAC, Aaron worked primarily in supporting the development and fundraising arm of the Centre, including writing and editing reports in English, creating fundraising materials, and writing newsletters.The public and legal advocacy arm of the Reform Movement in Israel, IRAC was founded in 1987 with the goals of advancing pluralism in Israeli society and defending the freedoms of conscience, faith, and religion. Today IRAC is the preeminent civil and human rights organization in Israel focusing on the issues of religion and state and is the leading Jewish organization that advocates on behalf of a broadly inclusive Israeli democracy, infusing social justice advocacy with the humane worldview of Progressive Judaism.
