Duties Include - I was responsible for looking after groups of clients on package holidays at resorts around the world. My main priority was to ensure that my clients enjoyed their holiday and that everything ran as smoothly as possible for them. As the public face of the tour operator, I had to create an excellent first impression and continue to provide outstanding customer service to clients throughout the duration of their stay. My role involved hosting welcome meetings, handling complaints and resolving problems as they arise. I was also responsible for selling excursions and additional services, such as car hire, as well as working closely with suppliers to make sure they met brand standard. Another key part of this role was ensuring that the resort’s met the company health and safety standards. I have worked in Cuba, India and Greece with Thomas Cook.
