Coordinating, preparing, and delivering cybersecurity classes throughout the United States in association with the National Emergency Response and Recovery Training Center (NERRTC). Training diverse audiences of state and local emergency managers, government personnel, and public and private officials in diverse cybersecurity topics. Course topics include developing cybersecurity resiliency, understanding target cyber attacks, preparing for cyber attacks and incidents, and physical and cybersecurity for critical infrastructure.

Conducting security risk assessments for mobile applications used on customer mobile devices. Assisting in security architecture reviews for new and existing systems and technologies. Developing and tracking Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) as a result of assisting in several internal audit efforts.Evaluating waivers and risk acceptance memos to ensure effective risk management during the onboarding of additional security tools. Recommending mitigation and control measures for newly discovered and existing vulnerabilities in several systems.

Directed a customer training program for current and future organizations and prospects, to include primary courses teaching analysis, alert triage, and threat hunting during product onboarding and implementation.Conducted content development and updates for current course offerings as well as additional training material. Developed subject matter for additional course offerings based on platform agnostic threat hunting and technical product implementation, as well as additional content updates for primary courses and ad hoc training modules.Developed and delivered customer facing exercises and demonstrations featuring collective defense cybersecurity capabilities, including near real-time alert correlations across multiple organizations, as well as advanced behavioral analytics for network-based alert generation.Executed threat hunting and alert triage activities to discover potential threat actors on real and simulated network environments, to include analytic techniques such as searching, querying, grouping, and stack counting, as well as analysis of endpoint data logs.

Conducted vulnerability assessments on mission critical networks, to include both Informational Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) systems, in order to identify and mitigate potential adversarial intrusion vectors. Duties included on-site examination of IT and OT infrastructure, vulnerability identification, mitigation recommendations, control implementation, and detailed reporting.

Acted as team lead during a multi-national cyber exercise, directing eight individuals in the successful analysis and discovery of adversary activity within network traffic, specifically focused on ICS/SCADA OT systems. Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all work roles levied as a network analyst.Integral member of a small group of highly technical SME’s dedicated to the development and implementation of training scenarios and exercises designed to improve the technical proficiency of all analysts on CPT’s. Duties included analysis, threat hunting, data visualization, network mapping, and reporting.As a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst (CTIA), deployed for three months as part of a Joint Task Force (JTF) responsible for directing the efforts of six deployed CPT’s. CTIA Duties included collection and analysis, product creation, and collaboration with cyber operations planners.
