• Lead Professional in assessments under the NHS & Community Care Act 1990, and Adult Safeguarding procedures
• Directly commission packages of support for adults with care and support needs or carers to achieve identified outcomes
• Undertaking of annual staff appraisals both within Trust and County Council frameworks

• Working with CQC compliance teams to carry out inspections of Adult Social Care providers.
• Providing specialist experience and advice in aspects around the delivery of Adult Community Mental Health Services and in the discharge of their duties under the Mental Health Act 1983. In particular in context of.
• Advisory role in the evaluation and compilation of the 2018 CQC Briefing: Mental Health Act – Approved Mental Health Professional services.
• Undertaking of clinical audits to ensure services are meeting national standards of service delivery.
