Coordinates district technology purchases.7. Oversees the district’s webpage.8. Represents the district at all KETS, KySTE and WKATC functions.9. Manages the efforts of the STLP (Student Technology Leadership Program).10. Serves as the WAAPOC administrator.11. Oversees and serves as administrator of third-party software (i.e. Accelerated ReaderProgram, Study Island, Education City, Discovery Education, and Read, Write, Gold)12. Oversees online testing procedures.13. Helps to maintain and keep the CIITS program updated. 14. Manages the efforts of the district network administrator, technology support assistant, and student technology leadership coordinators.15. Trains and supervises student technology workers.16. Coordinates disposal of district surplus inventory.17. Devises and implements technology plan.18. Works with vendors to add data and voice wiring runs per state specifications.19. Administers the district’s internet filtering and monitoring system to ensure appropriate use of the internet and compliance by all users.20. Works with Regional Engineer to ensure KETS guidelines and policies are followed.21. Develops annual KETS Technology Activity Report and budget plan.22. Completes annual Technology Tools Readiness Survey.23. Works with DPP to manage the School Information System (Infinite Campus).24. Maintains the district’s phone and alert calling system.25. Serves as consultant to all teachers in the district, helping devise ways to integrate technology into the curriculum.

Network AdminMaintains all wiring closet components (hubs, switches, routers, phone system). Performs duties related to the installation, repair, upgrading, and maintenance of telecommunications network components.
