I am currently a fourth year student studying tourism and digital marketing in the Technological University of Dublin, prior to this I have completed a two year course in Tourism and Marketing with Colaiste Dhulaige College of Further Education, through studying in both of these degrees I have furthered my knowledge as well as my interest within the tourism and hospitality industries.As I am currently in my third year of my degree I am asked to complete a 6 month placement period and through combining my interests and experience I see myself working in a marketing focused role within the tourism of hospitality sector.I have over 3 years of experience working with the public through means of customer service and retail career positions and from this experience I have gained many skills in which I now use in my daily work life, such as how to professionally communicate with customers as well as my fellow colleagues.Within my experience I worked in a managerial role where I gained a wide load of knowledge in terms of how to lead a team of workers while also dealing with administration responsibilities at the same time and from this I seen myself grow professionally.
