I’m National Programme Manager for the Telecare Programme in Wales, working for TEC Cymru, part of the NHS Executive. My role is to oversee the strategic direction of telecare in Wales, although not having a mandate to direct how telecare services operate, I provide impartial advice, support and time to help steer them towards a more consistent approach in service delivery.The majority of the focus is on digital migration, data, and movement toward a model of integrated TEC service delivery. I also serve as a Board Member for Social Care Wales. Social Care Wales provides national leadership and expertise in social care and early years, regulating the social care workforce, service improvement, data and research to drive improvement of care and support for citizens.
