I am currently working at GLI (Gaming Laboratories International LLC) as a System Test Engineer. I work on verifying newly developed gaming software for jurisdictional compliance. This job requires a very broad spectrum of knowledge (several OS's, full-stack application development, protocols, networking, slot machines & the interface board connecting them to the server system). It is very trying, and often times difficult, but ultimately it is satisfying. I've been working on React/React-Native, Node, MongoDB applications utiliziing oAuth 2.0 for some time now. Recently I made the transition to leverage Ethereum/Solidity to implement the blockchain as my database as opposed to SQL or Mongo. I have become fairly fluent in creating useful applications with these languages/databases. My current focus has been more heavily on the front-end side of development. In more recent times, my priority has shifted towards Solidity and Ethereum. Using blockchain, I have made a draft.js rich text editing blog posting tool that allows for Crypto tips using Ethereum or ERC20/ERC721 tokens. I have also made an election app which can be found at https://election-madness.herokuapp.com that allows users to cast their votes with registration and account permissions being attached to the wallet injected via Web3. As for react/node, I've made a tool to track the current modification testing status of any project by mod, by version, by status, by person assigned, etc. It handles submitting a form with new mod information, uploading files for testing of mods, deleting created mods, etc. I have begun to implement React hooks with Recoil to utilize state management more efficiently. Here is a link to the first app I ever made. I still play around on this from time to time:https://aaron-ely.herokuapp.comHere is a link for my resume:https://aaron-ely.herokuapp.com/resume
