Design has always been my passion. From Legos that I played with as a kid to the circuits I work with now, I have always enjoyed building and creating something new. Through my education, I have learned that via basic building blocks it is possible to create a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. Combining this with my love for electronics has driven me to pursue a career that will be at the forefront of technology. I have spent the past few years honing my skills at Washington State University where I have specialized in Control Systems. At WSUTC I have worked on several projects including the design of a near vertical incident skywave antenna for the Walla Walla Amateur Radio Emergency Service group. I am currently working on a design project for an emergency use ventilator that will be completed May 2021. Accompanying my education is an internship at Cadwell Industries, a medical device manufacture in Kennewick. As an intern for Cadwell's service department I have learned a lot about equipment repair and the importance of design devices that can be quickly and easily repaired.
