Delivering trailer mounted skip bins to customers throughout Melbourne and Australia. Based in the Eastern suburbs, I supervise the delivery of skip bins to commercial and residential customers across the wider Melbourne region. On the road most of the day, I liaise with customers and our drivers to coordinate the efficient delivery and collection of the skip bins. I also organise and implement a regular maintenance programme for our huge range of trailers as well as our fleet of vehicles.

I worked as a Driller in the coalfields around Queensland. With no experience in mining or the operation of blast hole drills, I quickly gained an understanding of the strict and dangerous nature of the industry. My agricultural background and general knowledge of farm machinery proved beneficial when it came to operating the large machines. Unfortunately due to the mining downturn I was made redundant and was forced to relocate.

Upon the completion of my teaching degree and a year travelling, I gained employment as a Primary School Teacher in my home town of Whangarei. I finished my first two years as a Beginning Teacher and was given the opportunity to become a permanent staff member which I gratefully took up. I took on the role of Sports Coordinator for the Middle Syndicate as well as being the Teachers Union representative for our school.
