The Engine Systems & Test Team is responsible for collaborating with Component Owners and the Operations Team at NASA's Stennis Space Center to drive Aeon R through development, qual, and ATP testing. Responsibilities I've had in this role:- Drive on-site engine work to unblock test readiness.- Write & update automated test sequences to ensure test objectives are met.- Data review, focused on system interaction, test objective assessment, and redline review.

Following Terran 1 Launch in March 2024, the Product Team pivoted to supporting Terran R architecture and development for a 2026 launch. Some experiences in this role were:- Authored Stage Separation mechanism development test plan and led coordination between RE, analyst, and test resources to drive test readiness.- Designed and procured vibe fixtures for rev 1 TVC's and Stage Sep latches, completing multi-step static structural and modal analysis in ANSYS.- Designed structural assembly for an in house Shock Test Stand, used to support fluid component, avionics, and mechanism dev, qual, and ATP.

On the Product Team, we collaborate across engineering disciplines to ensure vehicle level integration, test, and launch success. Specific experiences I had in this role include:- Designed and executed all mass property measurements for the Terran 1 vehicle, delivering as-built stage level mass and center of gravity measurements to internal stakeholders.- Authored test plans and coordinated execution of integrated tests including vehicle health checks, leak checks, and avionics polarity checkouts.- Responsible for tracking life on life limited items on Terran 1 throughout the stage test and launch campaigns.- Sat on console with Chief Engineer for all 3x Terran 1 launch attempts and tracked off nominal issues through resolution throughout the operation.- Created chronological dependency work order tracking practice at launch site and trained the local integration team during the stage ATP campaign, creating higher visibility on test readiness and ensuring all blocking issues were closed prior to each test.
