Environmental Consultant specialising in noise and air quality. An MSc Applied Acoustics graduate, Member of the Institute of Acoustics and the Institution of Environmental Sciences (including membership to the Institute of Air Quality Management). I currently hold: a full, clean driving license, an SPA Passport MPWC for Core and Mineral Products sectors, and a CSCS Card for Construction Site Visitor. I have recently completed the International Environmental Policy and Law Certificate of Credit offered at the University of Derby, and the Environmental Impact Assessment Certificate of Credit offered at the same institution. Eight years of experience working within Vibrock Ltd; an environmental consultancy. Undergoing Environmental Impact Assessments (noise and air quality) for residential planning application, quarry planning applications and construction planning applications. Completing a variety of acoustic noise reports; recently submitting reports inline with BS 4142, BS 8233 and BS 5228. Or Air Quality Assessments in-line with IAQM Guidance documents. I spent my preliminary period at Vibrock Ltd undergoing occupational monitoring surveying many workplaces adhering to Noise at Work Regulations and Vibration at Work regulations. Before working at Vibrock Ltd. I studied for my MSc in Applied Acoustics, and the IOA Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control. During my studies I was sub-contracted to undertake acoustic noise surveys on a freelance basis. I am a father to my six-year old son, and my 18-month old daughter. In my (somewhat limited) spare time (when not being an adult - parenting and doing DIY) my evenings comprise of learning Spanish, cooking/baking, watching film/TV, or playing video games. When I am not at home I can be found running a 5k, doing a HIIT workout, or doing some yoga. I have a huge passion for film and sound, whether it is my fascination with the human auditory system, or the sound/scores in a film. I enjoy the cinema and collecting vinyl records.
