Perform Manufacturing Batch Record (MBR) updates.7. Provide technical input to trouble-shoot process and equipment problems and support continuous improvement projects.8. Participate in and provide technical information for manufacturing Quality Risk Assessments (QRAs), Root Cause Analysis(RCA) and Process Hazard Analysis (PHAs).9. Evaluate automation changes and verify automation downloads.10. Work tactfully and collaboratively with all support functions.Duties:1. Perform lubrication walk downs2. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: Perform assigned duties in the manufacture of various chemical intermediates and finished products in designated chemical process areas.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to learn or perform these essential duties and responsibilities:1. Perform manual and computer operations (PCR-2A and PLC) to manufacture chemical intermediates and finished products.2. Monitor all operations of designated chemical process to ensure safe chemical procedures, quality standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.3. Accurately record and analyze against standards all processing data gathered from instruments, DCS, PLC’s, Pi, BDR, etc. to ensure operating standards are met; Make approved adjustments as appropriate to maintain process parameters within designated limits4. Make recommendations regarding improving process operations5. Troubleshoot DCS and solve problems in the field. Actively participate in problem-solving regarding process issues and continuous improvement.6. Adhere to all Safety & Environmental guidelines/policies as well as cGMP (MFP, LOP, EOP, SOP).7. Inspect finished product to assure adherence to specifications such as appearance, foreign substances and packaging or labeling requirements as required. 8. Mentor newer Process Techs, assist where applicable in skill completion/assessment and if required, act as an instructor to the Trainee program.Other Duties:9.
