Led product for the major transformation of Ridgeline's development processes and tools, moving from weekly monolithic releases to actual microservice CI/CD with ~100 weekly deployments across over 80 services, with control and observability provided from bespoke highly available, highly accessible, single-pane of glass.This had the effect of standardizing how the company understands our cloud estate, improving the visibility of our deployment tooling and service versions, driving service ownership, simplifying feature-flagging, reducing deployment time to production from days to minutes, and making tenant operations self-service.Product-led the transformation of Ridgeline’s cloud application and delivery architecture, re-imagining our microservice architecture, delivery strategy, and tenant management activities. Moved from a loose assemblage of AWS services, bespoke infrastructure, and code for weekly monolithic releases of a cloud-native microservice-oriented software solution to a multi-tenant, multi-account, trunk-based, continuous automation solution with actual CI/CD, safely deploying hundreds of releases of over eighty services to production weekly. Two environments with multiple tenants sharing pooled resources significantly dropped our AWS spend. Moved from complex and disparate command-line tools woven with various AWS offerings to a highly available, highly accessible, cloud-agnostic single pane of glass for monitoring and controlling cloud estate. I led 25 engineers from former cloud engineering, build engineering, and infrastructure engineering teams from concept to implementation in 6 months, successfully migrating live customers and 300 developers seamlessly, with the complete transformation of Ridgeline's development processes and cadence in 8 months.
