In this position, I oversaw the inventory of raw materials, packaging, and finished products across different warehouse, plant, and 3PL sites. I monitored supplier risk management compliance using ReposiTrak and ensured labeling on retail packaging adhered to 2020 FDA guidelines. Additionally, I developed new labels for containers and lids, researched alternative ingredients to reduce costs in collaboration with the research and development team, and negotiated vendor contracts to align with business objectives. I conducted audits on new items and ingredients, evaluating quantity, pricing, and overall costs.My notable contributions in this role were:• Increased purchase volume of minimal items and minimized waste.• Administered purchases worth $68M in sales, shipped 49M pounds, and maintained 800 SKU levels in 2019.• Secure worth $205K annually in packaging and $255K in ingredients by analyzing and comparing vendor pricing. Consolidating vendors to save on transportation and to minimize PO's and invoicing.
