Flexible approach to working shifts as and when required.Using various equipment daily to undertake all activity the role requires.Operating a vast amount of machinery, including cranes, loading shovels, bobcats, tugs, top lifts, forklifts and all other attachment to move cargo around the site and to and from vessels.Ensuring all cargo gets to where it needs to be within the port in a safe and timely manner.Working in a flexible manner to work patterns and shift changes at short notice.Carrying out risk assessments of each work area.Completing safe systems of work and correcting any safe systems of work with employer to make sure nothing is missed out and are of the best quality for the job and for each and everybody’s health and safety.Working in a fast-paced high-pressure environment with the ability to consistently meet deadlines with the highest quality whether working solo or as part of a team.
