Creates and drives strategy associated with the introduction, deployment, and sustainment of diversity and inclusion (D&I) initiatives within the Neuroscience Business Unit. Meets regularly with Senior Leadership and with the Executive Leadership team on a quarterly basis. Provides updates on endeavors and personal progress within the journey. Serves as a center of excellence for the business unit and leads the development of D&I strategy, providing subject matter expertise on relevant inclusion practices, and enhancing the brand internally and externally.  Operates as the only non-executive business leader on the Executive Leadership team and leads 2 Project Managers.  Examines and extrapolates data to architect and deploy grassroots D&I programs. Drives engagement for all things D&I and uncovers opportunities to align initiatives with corporate goals.  Engages in discussions and strategy regarding unconscious bias in the workplace, D&I talent development, hiring best practices, Executive Leadership perspectives, and more.  Conducted listening sessions with community members and encouraged the audience to discuss their concerns and interests regarding being one’s authentic self in the workplace.  Distilled information to provide gaps in D&I initiatives and offered recommendations to Senior Leadership. Produced and introduced a video and other resources on a SharePoint site to communicate in-house resources and procedures during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Improved under-represented talent resources by 30% by the beginning of 2021; reduced turnover from 58% to 1.2% in one year’s time.
