The requirements of the project were as follows:• Statistical analysis of client flow• Analysis of large data sets• Statistical modeling• Cost structure analysis• Web tool development• Stakeholder engagementThe TCA tool provides clients with a transaction cost prediction and recommended participation for a given basket of stocks in order to minimise costs. The analysis is based on participation rates, time horizon, average daily volume as well as stock volatility. The prediction and recommendations are based on a model developed using numerous publicly available research papers. The tool was created using a combination of R Studio, MATLAB and Shiny Server. Intercompany balances) and the drafting of the Quarterly Report (E.g. Researching certain US GAAP and IFRS accounting topics.• Internal Control Assessment: These activities included assisting executors of SOx controls in preparing and reviewing the control documentation and attend meetings with the external auditors. The lessons I learned at NXP Semiconductors cannot be described. I had the privilege of working alongside some of the best business minds in the world and got the opportunity to be placed in a position where I interacted with people of various cultural backgrounds, allowing me in-depth insight into working with teams of completely different kinds of people and learning how to reach the goals set before us despite our cultural differences.
