Manager Ii - Trackwork Design Engineering
Current-Overseeing all design engineering functions for 7 plants directing multiple engineering teams across 5 states. -Hiring, coaching and development, and organizational structure of design staff-Resource allocation and load balancing -Development and execution of long term strategy -Creation and reporting of departmental metrics-External relationship management -Participation in Industry events and standards committees-Directing all Trackwork engineer-to-order work for North American markets-Implementation of new products, product improvements, production gaging, and maintenance of existing products-Technical support to internal and external customers -Division wide continuous improvement including processes, procedures, and enterprise systems -P&L support as applicable to departmental activities
