After 10 years in the energy and telecom industries, I think I'm now in a perfect role for my experience and skillset with Conexon LLC. I also have the joy of working with a lot of great people who have similar visions to my own about the future of map building, data collection, and distribution design. I am a veteran field worker, especially in data collection. I have a strong understanding of the office/software components of energy distribution design & construction. I am a skilled field technician in telecom damage prevention, underground locating, GPS mapping, safety audits, light audits, make ready engineering, staking, joint use, and vault lay downs. I am proficient with: MicroStation, AutoCAD, Mobile Mapping Tool (specifically AT&T records), OSP design (copper & fiber), GDOT requirements for markups and design, and road move planning through construction. When I look back over the last 10 years, the accomplishment for which I'm most proud is realizing a vision with my late friend and coworker, Dave Jessen. In 2018, we built a system from disparate parts to automate our road move markup product. Moving forward I envision even more efficient workflows that will reduce “boots on the ground,” make data collection less expensive and safer.
