Manage, supervise and delivery of the Department of Education, Skills & Employment's Transition to Work service across the Gold Coast region. Role include: - Supporting a multidisciplinary team of professionals to achieve employment, education and wellbeing outcomes for young people 15-24 years. - Continual review, evaluation and improvement of service to ensure revenue targets are exceeded and contractual compliance maintained. - Collaboration with business, organisation, and local & federal government to leverage opportunities for service and participants. - Development of a high performance team culture that promotes and celebrates the achievement of the service and participants.

The development and delivery of various programs to a range of young people aimed at increasing social skills, confidence and general employability skills. In this role I was also responsible for championing the theoretical framework that underpinned our service model and provided support and guidance to staff about 'best practices'. Role included;- Continually developing programs in 'real time' based on current cohort needs and forecasted employment opportunities within the community. Included developing online platforms, digital tool kits and a variety of resources to ensure all participant learning styles were accounted for. - Developing a 'Youth Alliance' to support with identifying issues and trends to ensure program relevancy. - Liaising with case managers around individual participant needs, learning styles and further opportunities to develop. - Liaising with local employers and community organisation to create opportunities for employment, connection and collaboration. - Fortnightly individual practise support session for staff to consult on participants, performance and development.

Reconnect is a Youth Homelessness Early Intervention Program that offers a range of support services to meet the individual needs of young people aged 12 to 18 years old with a central on assisting young people and families to remain connected to each other and to the community, before issues such as early school leaving and homelessness occur.The key responsibilities of my role included:- Provide leadership and professional supervision to program staff- Facilitating and developing parenting education and support networks- Case management within a trauma informed framework- Positively engaging with young people to support, guide and assist them to make positive life decisions- Assist with referrals to appropriate support agencies

Management of a professional team and active caseload of young people whilst delivering the Youth Connections contract on the Gold Coast. Youth Connections was a Federal Government program aimed at re-engaging young people back into education, employment or training. Duties included:- Providing supervision, support and guidance to a team of case managers while ensuring contract and legislative compliance. - Assisting you people to re-engage with education, employment or training through the development and implementation of quality case plans. - Development and facilitation of group programs aimed at increasing social skills, self-confidence and independence.

Assisting young people subject to court ordered intervention to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes to manage their lives effectively without further offending. Through supervision, offending related programs and linkages to appropriate support services, my role required me to promote opportunities for rehabilitation and contributes to the reduction of crime in the community.Worked within a specialised team working with high risk, serious, offenders exiting custody and completing community based orders.
