2020-2021 M.S. AE research: A previously designed dynamics test stand is used to deliver variable impact loading to a surrogate human head model for the correlation of bulk acceleration to intracranial pressure in the coup and contrecoup region. This research effort involves a 3 fold approach of verifying experimental data, finite element modeling simulations, and theoretical predictions.2022-2024 PhD AE: researching energy absorption of meta materials for use as a liner in combat helmets. Static compression and dynamic impact tests are being conducted on on a variety of existing and novel cellular structures. Advances in additive manufacturing allow us to 3D print our helmet liner for impact testing. Parallel computation and experimental testing is being done.

I have written 75 questions that are integrated into the "Mechanics of Aircraft Structures" online zyBooks textbook. These questions are designed to strengthen the readers' conceptual understanding of the subject content while they traverse through the text.

Designed and manufactured a dynamic test stand and experimental setup to simulate head impacts for development of damage criteria in traumatic brain injuries. Pressure and acceleration data acquisition is done using a NI DAQ and LabVIEW program.
