With over 13 years of working in such varied and high paced environments I have able to gain an array of knowledge and experience which has led me to where I am currently placed as a Learning and Development Officer.Being a part of a training team has really shown me the value of seeing and contributing to individuals growth and success. I have thoroughly enjoyed working in an L&D team and moving forward I would love to be in a role that allows me to mentor others. I have a very personal approach to training as i am relatable and easy to talk to. This in turn helps with the pace of training as people are less likely to not want to ask me any questions and are quite upfront and open with me. I have trained such a variety of people, ranging from new graduates, up to people who have been working for 45+ years and everything in between. It is very important to not only be patient, but also know when enough time has been spent on a task before pushing forward to ensure schedules are kept toI have also got many years of sales experience (both telesales and face to face) In my last sales role I Generated more than £2.2Million in sales in just under 2 years before moving into my current L&D role. I am very much a peoples person as it is important for me to be able to communicate on all levels with people from all backgrounds and with varied passed experiences etc. I am able to give feedback and constant mentoring to ensure an individual is on track to success.I have a passion for cars and racing and have had a lot of experience working in the automotive industry and am well established in this field. I enjoy track racing and take up the opportunity to do as many UK track days as i am able to as well as many frequent trips (pre Covid-19) to the Nürburgring in Germany.
