I am a psychotherapist (LMFT) who graduated from Pepperdine University with a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. My clinical expertise has been honed at AIDS Project Los Angeles and The LA Gay and Lesbian Center, two widely renowned sites where I served the diverse populations of Los Angeles in the company of exceptionally skilled colleagues. I combine this professional knowledge with my own personal experience to create a safe and encouraging space for clients to grow, process and gain insight. LGBT issues can be particularly complex, often colored by a diverse range of personal experiences from parental relationships to generational influence. In working with a variety of LGBT clients of all generations, ethnicities, and socio economic backgrounds, I have developed an ability to be an empathetic listener, which, combined with a client centered focus, allows me to collaborate with clients to create treatment goals that take a proactive approach towards healing and growth.
