As Director of Design for Quorum International, Oxygen Lighting and Cyan Design, l provide creative vision throughout the organization and develop innovative concepts and strategies for product development, brand, visual merchandising, and marketing projects. This includes: - Identifying key market trends and emerging opportunities to develop strategic initiatives that drive business growth and profitability.- Presenting seasonal concepts to leadership teams and contract designers, and driving the conceptual vision and creative direction for each of the brands.- Working with a global sourcing network to bring products through the complete lifecycle, including sourcing, sampling, and delivering approved samples to marketing and purchasing.- Experience working hand in hand with factory engineers all over the world to reduce product and tooling costs while maintaining impeccable product quality. - Employing ioT and LED technologies in applicable products to enhance functionality and innovation, and currently working to understand how AI can aid in the product development landscape. - Managing an in-house product development team and working with celebrity and guest designers to create original and innovative product collections.- Overseeing the recruitment and hiring of design and product development talent. - Developing processes for seamless product development cycles, and mentor and educate creative staff.- Securing design and utility patents to protect intellectual property. - Product Lines: Indoor and outdoor lighting, ceiling fans, furniture, and decorative accessories- Good Design Winner

Operated a freelance design studio which offered design services to manufactures and importers of lighting, furniture, home accessories and table top.

Taught classes in Interior design, furniture design, color theory, and lighting design. Also assisted in the curriculum development and academic and professional counseling.

Artifacts was a gallery in the Nob Hill area of Albuquerque, New Mexico, featuring fine art from 25 local and international artists. In addition to fine art, Artifacts sold home decor and was one of the first shops in Albuquerque to be a distributor of the Alessi Brand.
