Working at americas best, I was taught skills that allowed me to be adaptable and personable. In my role as lead sales associate, I would be in charge of opening the store and getting the systems running, and closing the store and getting everything ready for the morning. Other responsibilities at my job would include helping customers pick out glasses and/or contacts that were good for them, helping them get the right adjustments or additions to the glasses that they would need, and making sure the glasses fit right and the customer was satisfied with their purchase. Being in sales is something that comes naturally for me as connecting and helping customers is what I find rewarding in the job. My skills to adapt to any situation makes adjusting to new skills and systems less stressful, and helps my become more comfortable and confident in my work.
