As the Regional Manager, I was responsible for leading and directing each opportunity through the sales process including coordination of activities with agents. I maintain contact with customers; frequency determined by level of business customer has provided or looks to provide in coming year. I effectively lead investigations into various design solutions to create converged network architecture to add reliability, increase security, reduce cost, improve customer service, and add advanced services.I hired, trained, supervised, and handled payroll for a crew to sell and install Smart Thermostat for the major utility companies working with the Light Up Texas program. Due to my dedication to motivating my staff through diligent training and coaching, they were able to complete the Home Energy Assessments at a rate of 20% higher than competitors.

I was proficient in interacting with customers (internal & external) in a polite, professional manner. As the Regional Manager, I maintained a thorough understanding of, and was able to effectively communicate the prices, channels, services and packages to sales employees, customers, and potential customers. I hired, trained, and oversaw 6 managers with crews of 5-10 employees over a 7-state area from 2001-2008. The company had consistently obtained higher save rates of 10%+ over competitors in the same market.

I was held responsible for directing regional sales initiatives targeting and penetrating single and multi-side accounts. I performed further positioning and developing the existing sales, marketing, and after-sales structure in the target region organized through direct sales as well as dealer development. I managed and developed employees to sell cable TV, as well as structures and processes with a drive for continuous and ambitious growth - both in sales and profit.

As the company’s owner/partner, I developed sales strategies and trained personnel in working according to established strategies and metrics. I established direct relationships with clients and assisted them with queries/needs that arise. I also trained and motivated Account Executives to achieve and surpass revenue targets. During my time, I successfully introduced the company to collect cable bills, competing head-to-head with a national leading contractor. We were able to collect just under $1M each year in past due bills.
