Providence Health System A hospital system consisting of two Hospitals, a nursing home, two physician organizations, a foundation for both hospitals and a building asset management organization. Part of an eleven hospital system sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth with full service Medical/Surgical services, Emergency services, Rehabilitation program in Kansas, Montana, California and Colorado. • Reduced 50 FTE’s saving 1.5 million dollars a year by streamlining the productivity systems. I built an automated system to collect data, process the data, report the results, compare the results with benchmarking data and education the department heads. • Increased the integrity of the financial records by building an automated system to keep track of all entity Balance Sheet reconciliations. The new system decreased the time necessary to reconcile the accounts and provided an electronically stored version of the reconciliations with proper backup. • Annually prepare the system budget and built a process to educate the department heads on the budget process and variance analysis. On a monthly basis review, on a timely basis, all financial records for accuracy, while consolidating all entities from 5 different general ledger systems.
