James Seville is an up and coming New Orleans artist finding his niche in the music scene. I started a second market sneaker exchange. I would buy collectible sneakers at or below market value and resell them. Most of these sneakers had previously been worn so I would refurbish the shoes through a variety of techniques. In making sales I needed to be able to get a buyer past the stigma of previously owned shoes and demonstrate how the shoes could hold value going forwards. This job required skill in sales, business management, negotiation as well as an ability to estimate which pairs of sneakers would hold or gain value. I stopped this business before going to college because it was a large time commitment and I wasn't able to maintain a necessary level of involvement.
