My role at AgSolutions involved working at all levels of the organisation to see long term operational objectives met through Lean methods and the design of product specific materials handling equipment.Responsibilities:-Design and project management of new equipment-Redesign and optimisation of existing equipment-Coaching/mentoring staff in lean methods-Further building a culture of respect and teamwork-Developing visual management and reporting tools to communicate: -Operational objectives -Improvement gains -Skills development-Developing team-autonomous improvement approval and resourcing system-Developing operational strategy with senior management to meet projected growth requirements in new product lines

• Responsible for the scoping, design and simulation of structures and mechanisms to solve unique application requirements in the transport industry. • Analysis of structures using Finite Element Analysis using FEMAP for NS NASTRAN utilising Linear static, contact, buckling and non-linear static analysis. Large complex model analysis including full size semi-trailer models with functional suspension constraints to simulate load sharing.• Investigation of failure modes in structures and mechanical connections• Post-failure modelling and simulation to verify physical failure mode observations
