Hi there! My name is Aaron and I am a speech-language-pathology graduate student with 5+ years of experience working with children and adults in various educational, clinical and caregiving settings. I have worked directly with individuals ages 5 mos to 85 years--many of whom with unique cognitive, physical, and psycho-social needs and abilities--as well as their teachers, counselors, families, friends, and caregivers. My previous work experience includes assistant-teaching in infant and toddler classrooms and providing behavioral support to children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. As a graduate student, I evaluated, counseled and provided evidence-based therapy pertaining to clients' presenting concerns, including but not limited to articulation, stuttering, language, social skills, voice modification, and executive functioning. I enjoy working with people of all ages, and I am particularly enthusiastic about early language acquisition, which generally focuses on communication development in children between ages 8 months - 3 years. I a strong believer in the power of learning through exploration and play in naturalistic environments. I strive to model kindness, empathy, self-confidence, and curiosity.
