I spent the first 8 years of my career in Public Accounting and later as an Analyst. I knew early on this was merely a stepping stone on the pathway to finding my true interest.I bought my first Parking lot in 2003 in the East Village of downtown Long Beach, sold it for a 3x multiple, and from that point on I was hooked. Operating under the names Lujan Development, LMDG LLC, Platinum LLC, and Alamitos LLC, the entity charters were set-up to find Value-add Real Estate properties. My initial focus was true value-add ‘replacement-cost’ driven purchases; however, the strategy has evolved to a more 'Prime-location’ driven investment strategy by acquiring A+ properties at 'Fair Value’s’ (which I believe lowers the overall risk profile) and driving value creation through Experience upgrades for the tenants.
