This role is designed to facilitate collaboration across multiple functions of the business and guide innovative decisions from current process improvement through technology concept development, supporting the strategic business plan.• Direct strategy with emerging solutions to generate potential revenue streams and outside-the-box industry targets• Develop continuity plan focused on progressive innovation to ensure long-term effects remain relevant and consistent• Research new concepts that would attribute value to the long-term advancement of our business growth and provide detailed analysis to Technology Task Force• Create collection database, in conjunction with IT Department, to cultivate innovative culture and inclusion from every level of the organization• Prioritize solutions to guide company in a manageable direction, aligned with key stakeholder expectations and ROI• Circumvent any contradictions at the enterprise level to ensure cohesive functionality within the organization• Orchestrate cyclic evaluations of current operational impacts, problem statements and innovation success for each region• Develop gateway of innovation through change agents to foster research and new industry ideas and perspectives• Establish and maintain technology budget; inclusive of CapEx, incremental investments, Proof of Concepts any periodic dues to partnership committees or organizations • Manage ROI analysis according to each independent project and report results on a periodic basis

Oversees and directs a strategic service line within the Granite Construction Power Division. Directly responsible for establishing, maintaining and forecasting all contracts, project budgets and operational requirements within the service line. Key responsibilities include:• Serves as a key leader of the division and review/approval board for each project from inception to closeout. Ensures the highest quality, economical, timely, and practical design products are utilized. • Coordinates with all echelons for construction outage schedules, cost controls, priorities, and planning with project management to achieve successful project implementation. • Resolves substantial quality control and quality assurance issues and recommends corrective action when necessary. • Instills a "team concept" in all aspects with the operations team members, the customers, and other departments/divisions. Provides reports, status on project activities and identifies, addresses and resolves critical and/or significant problems. • Reviews and approves job plans, permits, material requisitions for capital expenditures, schedules / schedule changes and miscellaneous other documents ensuring accuracy, practicality, economics and impact on other projects. • Leads a staff of professionals assigned to projects and maintenance activities supporting staff development, training, evaluations and career progression. • Oversees and provides guidance in identifying and acting on engineering and material restraints to critical jobs through meetings, discussions, and/or reports, and verifies that proper tools are in place to clear restraints.

Collaborates with Kenny Construction Company’s Power VP, Director of Field Operations, Director of Commercial Operations, Chief Estimator, Regional Managers, ROW Services and Project Teams on bid development and strategic planning of material management resources to support Projects. Responsible for Business Development for the Integrated Services / Materials Management Group and ensuring Customer Satisfaction.Additional Responsibilities: Facilitates and/or serves as consult on all bid proposals that include logistics / materials management in the Power Group. Governs all salaried hiring into the Materials Management Team. Implemented and maintains the “Materials Management Team Training and Mentoring Program”Developed the Training program utilized to train and evaluate new hires in Materials Management Department. Oversees the development of the SharePoint Library to support continuing education in the Team. Responsible for the training, development, hiring and governance of all members of the Materials Management Team for all Kenny Power Projects.

Responsible for the overall success of the Material Management Group on multiple Projects. Primary Lead on all Logistics planning, execution and Safety on Projects in accordance with the Project scope and established deliverables. Responsible for assisting and overseeing all non-conventional Kenny Construction Projects. Overall responsibility to administer an effective organization that meets Project needs to ensure there are no work stoppages due to the lack of material. Key Efforts and Tasks Include:• Develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures for projects that incur unforeseen issues or damage to laydown yards. Facilitates and works with engineering and civil contractors to produce the best solution while providing no cost impact to the client. • Overseeing and facilitating the handover of project positions and responsibilities and ensuring seamless operations were maintained in the process. • Managing Profit and Loss and developing and managing Key Performance Indicators.• Managing the logistical support of all projects under the KCC Materials Scope of WorkProject Experience includes:o 115kV double circuit transmission line (NYSEG/ Avangrid/ Iberdrola USA, Auburn, NY)o 115kV double circuit underground transmission line (RG&E/Avangrid/ Iberdrola USA, Rochester, NY)
