Patrol Officer/Instructor/Detective Conducted basic and advanced training for Louisville Metro Police Department’s Training Division. Responsibilities include training officers, detectives, and supervisors on topics that include, but are not limited to, tactics, surveillance, intelligence operations, critical incident survival, tactical trauma care, Active Shooter Response, SWAT Operations, edge weapons defense and tactical firearms. Duties include arrangement of resources for training, small group instruction, lesson plan and curriculum development. 12 year member of Louisville Metro Police Department's Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, successful resolution of barricade situations, hostage rescue, dignitary protection, high risk warrant service, and training of special operations personnel.
