Storm Water Projects – Coordinated with design consultants to develop plans and specifications for the construction (Talisman Lift Station, Tevis Ranch Lift Station and Canal Tie-In) and rehabilitation (BPD Pistol Range Lift Station) of storm water lift stations, including utility coordination and construction support. Managed a design consultant on the production of the Downtown Master Storm Drain Study (August 2020) and Oleander-Sunset Master Storm Drain Study (October 2021).Sanitary Sewer Projects – As above, coordinated with design consultants on several sanitary sewer lift station rehabilitation projects (24th/Oak, Alfred Harrel #3, Brandon Park, White/Buena Vista). Provided oversight to Public Works staff in production of of Cast-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining construction documents (23rd/24th, Alta Vista, Brundage/Union), and construction support. Managed a design consultant on the production of the Downtown Master Sewer Study (January 2021).Pavement Improvement Projects – Managed both Public Works staff and design consultants on numerous pavement rehabilitation, road widening, and street improvement projects.Traffic Signal and Lighting Installation and Interconnect Projects – Managed both Public Works staff and design consultants on several traffic signal installation, traffic signal interconnect, and lighting installation projects.Involved in the development of CIP budgets, including Engineer’s Estimates, project justification, and identification of funding sources.In addition to the specific responsibilities listed above, responsibilities for each project include: production of construction documents; utility coordination; management of bid process; preparation of staff reports for Council review and action; consultant contract administration; and construction support.

Hidden Valley Park Pedestrian Bridge Replacement Project – Coordinated with geotechnical and structural consultants to develop construction documents for the placement of a 120'x6' pedestrian bridge. Harris Street Reconstruction/Resurfacing Project – Work involved the replacement of curb, gutter, and sidewalk, construction of ADA ramps, repair of sewer and storm drain facilities, and street resurfacing. Cape Seal and Slurry Seal Treatment Programs – Coordinated with Streets Department to identify streets in need of surface treatment. Storm Sewer and Sanitary Sewer Pump Replacement Programs – Selected pumps for storm and sewer lift station retrofit projects. Coordinated panel upgrades with electrical sub-contractor.Responsibilities also included: execution of contract documents; construction management; processing of progress payments and related project billing; negotiation of change orders; and project close-out.

Antelope Valley Water Bank – Involved in the field collection and analysis of water level and quality data. Co-authored the Annual Report 2010 through 2012.Northern Cities Management Area – Involved in collection and analysis of water level, water quality, hydrology, and meteorological data. Co-authored Quarterly and Annual Reports.Poso Creek RWMG/IRWMP – Assisted in the development of environmental documents for large-scale infrastructure projects. Completed DWR and Reclamation Grant applications. North Kern Water Storage District – Involved in the installation of groundwater level monitors, as well as the field collection of groundwater level data.Gateway Region IRWM Authority – Calculated water use reduction values for the Gateway Regional Alliance (GRA); a collection of 15 water agencies in the Long Beach area. Co-authored the GRA Report.

City of Buellton – Co-authored the Master Drainage Plan which included fieldwork and research of existing systems, as well as floodplain modeling of Zaca Creek using RiverCAD/HEC-RAS.The Lodge at Painted Rock – Conducted preliminary design and analysis (using WaterCAD) for multiple service systems (water, sewer, septic, storm water) for a proposed events center near Lake Isabella. Attended ASCE Seminars and provided technical instruction to multiple offices on the following subjects: Pumping Systems Design, Streambank Rehabilitation, StormCAD, WaterCAD, and Hydraflow Utilities.

Mill Creek Linear Park – Provided preliminary design and analytical support, including HEC-RAS modeling and analysis, for Central Park at Mill Creek in Bakersfield.H.M. Holloway Gypsum Mine – Provided engineering and design support for a 1.5-mile industrial/mining water supply line. Located existing substructure utilities and prepared construction documents.Assisted in the collection of topographic and boundary data and performed mapping investigation for various projects.

Prepared Master Studies (including modeling, and analysis) for multiple service systems (water, sewer, storm). Developed street improvement plans and grading plans for residential developments.
