Primary responsibility is managing the claim adjudication process for the Accident and Group Hospital Indemnity products. This includes maintaining a high understanding of individual and group policy provisions, updates to state legal narratives, and medical/clinical terminology and practices. Proficiency in the utilization of multiple CRM interfaces is crucial to success in fulfilling this primary responsibility. While managing the claim adjudication process is the primary responsibility, doing so while providing the utmost customer experience is the ultimate goal. This is accomplished by providing accurate and timely information regarding the claim review process, answering any and all customer inquiries, and streamlining the interdepartmental flow of incoming information.Project management is also a key aspect of this role. VBS III's must be able to manage the various processes of a project. Including identifying inefficiencies/issues, setting appropriate deadlines, assigning responsibilities to appropriate parties, developing metrics for measuring success, and submitting status/final reports to upper management. All of this must be completed within time and budgetary constraints.
