My role at WPS Health Insurance involves development for our customer-facing website and rest services, showcasing my proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and SQL. This includes development for both the back-end rest services (Spring Framework) and front end (Next.js). We focus on enhancing the user experience, implementing government healthcare updates, and maintaining critical integrations with legacy systems such as DB2 and CICS. In collaboration with Linux admins I successfully migrated our web apps from WebSphere to Linux servers, increasing cost efficiency and technical agility.With an Associate's Degree in IT Web Software Development from Madison Area Technical College, I bring a strong understanding of business web development. My core competencies include maintaining and creating Rest-Services, building new web pages, updating mainframe integrations, and document integrations (Onbase, Filenet). I also provide support for our internal customer service application based on Spring Framework. Our work ensures that our healthcare portal remains easily accessible and efficient for all users.
