I work supporting the technical function within the third line team ensuring issues are dealt with within SLA, ensuring continuous availability of services across the estate, implementing upgrades and new requirements as needed.I am a problem solver and creative thinker having had to develop multiple skills to adapt to the situation and problem to ensure a positive outcome. I enjoy the challenges of getting the job done and working with customers promoting a good service. Over the course of my roles within Severn Trent I have managed the relationships with our vendors for purchasing new equipment and software, ensuring we get the best value for our products and services. I am a cloud administrator able to manage several services such as Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune and Avaya Cloud. I monitor various services such as Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) to ensure colleagues are not vulnerable to cyber-attacks. I administer users to ensure colleagues have the features they are authorized to use and remove colleagues who are leaving to ensure we maintain our licenses. I managed several successful projects including laptop and desktop roll outs, Office 365 deployments and Intune mobile device management.Using my experience from previous roles I was able to bridge the gaps in processes to ensure that they were suitable within the team and business. This allowed me to create and support the high priority and incident management procedures. To support the technology function, I created monthly reports drawing in data from the Service Desk telephony system Avaya and both ServiceNow to reflect the work carried out.
