In my 10+ years in Product Design / User Experience Design and 3+ years as a product design leader / director of product design, I bring empathy, creativity, and a passion for helping those I serve to my work. This passion exists for both leading designers/researchers through career growth and building innovative new experiences that improve the lives of our users and better the world around us.For me, design leadership is about leveraging team growth goals to create business value. I've built 2 design teams, and I love helping designers and researchers use their design skills to user-centered design their own careers. I’m most capable of delivering that kind of problem solving value in healthcare because of my 14 years in that industry. I'm particularly passionate about reimagining the experience of seeking, receiving, and providing mental health care services. I have worked on SaaS products at Harvard Medicine and Mayo Clinic that deliver AI and ML experiences in revolutionary care workflows, with the hope of seeing how those improvements can be brought into the mental health care experience.I also enjoy prompt engineering through LLMs like Chat GPT and Bard, and AI image creation in Midjourney, DALL-E, Adobe Firefly, and some stable diffusion.
