CutBoard was conceived over sandwiches and coffee, at Spokane's Rocket Bakery. My partner, Bob Asbury brought a lifetime of television production experience to the company, while I brought my years of marketing and love of shooting. Since 2014, we've produce everything from Radio ads to TV shows, and in early 2016 Tanya Klumb joined us. As Creative Director and Executive Producer for our PBS series "Way of the Columbia", her expertise has allowed CutBoard to expand into graphic design and social media.Together we have a passion for telling stories accurately and effectively with a strong focus on brand clarity.

Following my experience with Datamark, I was recruited to build an in house studio for the Concorde marketing team. The capabilities would include everything from full radio and TV production to versioning. Here we could launch and track any number of tests. With our schools scattered across the US, no single message worked across all locations. This required localized brand messaging and respective testing. Soon after the studio was built we discovered the value of shooting one-on-one interviews at each school. With an in house two person team we managed to shoot multiple interviews for every school location. This allowed each market to hear from a graduate they could better connect with.

The Spokane branch of Datamark had in house capabilities for a range of marketing needs. My department was TV and Radio. Working with project managers, media buyers, and client relations we maintained the creative distribution for multiple school groups.An in house studio made it possible to create new TV and Radio spots, alter existing ones, and meet the collateral creative needs of the clients. This studio also allowed the team to implement controlled market testing and track the results. My responsibilities were to run and maintain this studio. We trafficked between 150 and 300 TV spots a month, while meeting the radio and collateral needs of each client.
