Quality of Life Home Care, LTD (QOLHC) is the largest privately-owned Home Health Care Agency in Southeast Ohio. Family-owned and operated since 2002, we have grown to a recognizable name in the communities in which we serve. Currently, my role is Operations Manager, where I lead 11 administrative and nursing professionals; who work to support over 100 field employees who facilitate care to QOLHC clients.In my first year, I increased our clientele, which increased revenues by 47%. Implemented a new agency management system that allowed the company to assess patient care needs more accurately and access weekly revenue streams from payers including Medicare, Medicaid, and several governmental subcontractors. My current focus now is expanding services that the company provides from only Home Health Aides (HHA) and Skilled Nursing (SN) to HHA, SN, Physical Therapy, and on Staff Nurse Practitioner.

I am a mechanical engineering student here at Ohio University and in the lab I work as an undergraduate research assistant. I am assisting with the investigation into the rheology of non-Newtonian fluids, concentrating on those that have shear-thickening behaviors.
