Lead and develop 10+ Operations Managers and 500+ team members to deliver distribution center resources to Target stores in the Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa regions. Manage departmental expenditures and ensures system throughput for over 39 million cartons yearly in a 1.1 million square foot facility.• This role encompasses management of the daily operation as well as lead new initiatives as a pilot site for network wide automation and system capabilities, including the piloting of new warehouse management and store/guest fulfillment nodes. • Establish and maintain effective relationships with peers, team, and Senior Distribution Director in order to communicate effectively, collaborate across departments, and strategically implement solutions.• Inspire a team of salaried managers and full time hourly associates with challenging assignments and continuous improvement initiatives to facilitate individual/departmental growth and development; fostered a collaborative environment in which diverse backgrounds are respected and valued.• Ensure performance plans are set, maintained, and continuously improved.• Manage $4 Million operational budget to accommodate demands of the business team and achieve financial goals.• Maintain level of service and cycle time requirements throughout the operation, from our vendors to our distribution center to our stores.• Manage a safe workplace by advocating safety training and accident preparedness; lead the facility in safe and efficient operation of all equipment.
