I grew up fascinated by the ASCII art and text adventure of dial-up BBSes. I started programming BASIC at a young age and built my first websites in the 90's. I enjoy all aspects of development from functionally beautiful interfaces to artfully efficient engineering. The CMS is comprised of modular components built with the Kohana MVC framework, and allows fine-grained control of markup with hierarchal navigation, cascading templates and user-defined page fields. All assets are version-controlled using Git and MySQL and deployed via a simple web interface. The platform is extremely flexible and has been adopted for everything from customer newsletters to internal support documentation. -
