I love being able to code everyday; problem solving, creating fun and beautiful websites, learning new technologies and collaborating on a team with diverse backgrounds and skill sets. Web development began as my hobby outside of work, but quickly evolved into my passion and fueled my decision to pivot to a career in software development. In my work as an Engineer in the construction industry, I gained valuable experience taking projects from inception to completion while managing people, timelines and budgets. This has contributed to my work ethic, project management and critical thinking skills that I tap into every day as a developer. Through this experience I am immensely proud to have earned my Professional Engineer (P. Eng) designation.
