- Worked in Front End Innovation (FEI) to create new and improved consumer robotics products. - Designed chassis, bumper, and wheel mounts for a new robot by utilizing top-down design practices in large Creo assemblies and collaborating closely with key owners of interfacing components within the chassis. Led to successful assembly of robots for ME and SWE to perform testing.- Designed multiple robot test rigs with multiple mounting locations for use in wet cleaning and navigation development, allowing for flexibility in testing conditions. Top-down design practices aided quick changes in CAD for printing extra components.- Lead pump selection by conducting test procedures to define accurate pressure thresholds in steady-state and transient conditions, which resulted in a 50% decrease in air pump cost.- Coordinated tightly with UX/ID team to design water tanks by identifying ergonomic requirements, customer wants, and manufacturability, resulting in a design that strikes a balance between manufacturability and ease of use.- Performed 50+ noise tests on current products to burn down risk and help identify leading causes of air turbulence, vibration, or resonance in development.

- Led the wheel assemblies sub team at Boston Universities Formula Hybrid team to create components such as wheel hubs, brakes, uprights, control arm brackets, etc, while educating and providing new members with projects on topics such as FEA, CAD, and CAM- Collaborate in a team of 5 and hold meetings to come to agreements on brake system components, wheel hubs, steering geometry, uprights, to sustain 1.5 to 5G loads during cornering, bump, and braking scenarios, respectively.- Switched key components from 7075 to 6061 by re-evaluating wheel assemblies with FEA while staying within the same packaging constraints, reducing costs by ~$1000- Reduced machine operation time and number of part setups by consulting school machinists, reducing complex geometry, and unnecessary lightweighting. This reduced the use of special fixtures like soft jaws, fixture plates, etc. Also allowed parts to be machined rapidly, freeing up machine time for other components.- Performed hand calculations in areas such as: radial and thrust components on the hub, weight transfer under braking, and cornering and bump loads. Calculations aided in bearing selection, brake rotor sizing, robustness of parts, etc.

- Worked in a startup to develop fluid transport systems which could pump, filter, and analyze bioreactor cell broth with minimal intervention. Consulted with direct customers to help analyze and improve their current cell culture processes.- Redesigned a 3D printed peristaltic pump to increase pressure in cell broth line to increase speed of dead-end filtration, resulting in successful deployment of the system during my internship- Designed custom well plate solutions to work with existing client fixtures as a direct drop in replacement for our fluidic transport sampling system
